Gazi Artist Series
Our new Gazi Artist Series celebrates the Gazi district of Athens renowned as hub of culture and art. Each quarter, our dynamic venue will feature a new Melbourne artist.
Currently, you will find our walls adorned in the incredible work of Sam Chirnside.
Sam Chirnside is a visual artist currently based in Melbourne, formerly New York & Amsterdam. Blurring the line between physical & digital practice. Chirnside creates lush, hypnotic yet tranquil artworks that reflect details from the natural world whilst exploring the fields that exist beyond mind’s eye. With an aim to evoke senses on a deeper level through his luminescent colour palette, which is to be suggestive of spectrums of light outside our physical realm. His pieces currently displayed at Gazi explore the intersection between energy fields & forces of nature, with hyper cascading colours merging together in harmonious form.
